Sipping my tea carefully, I speak.
Speaking to someone who speaks like me.
A good friend, he’s now become and
some years ago he took this same path
_____(at the same stage as me).
We shared some stories,
and I heard his advice.
But he won’t share much more
unless it’s worth its while
_____(Or so he said to me.)
But his best advice came
just by chance.
It helped me progress
to the next stage and now
I have forgotten it all, it’s in the past.
I only remember the tea.
